The Alcotector C2H5OH breathalyzer has a unique integrated keyboard for data entry. The Alcotector C2H5OH incorporates powerful functions including: flow rate and blow time adjustment, number of print copies, ability to key in all information the user needs and step by step operating indication. The Alcotector C2H5OH also offers both passive and direct sampling.
Outstanding Features
Fuel Cell
The fuel cell offers exceptional accuracy and a long stable lifespan. The fuel cell has a response which is linear and directly proportional to Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC). Having a high specificity to alcohol, the fuel cell is not influenced by acetone or other breath substances.
Easy to use
The Alcotector C2H5OH breathalyzer is fully automatic. A microprocessor controls the analysis of a fuel cell sensor, which has a high specificity to alcohol. An accurate "base line" is established before each breath test.
The fuel cell temperature is monitored prior to each breath test, contributing to an accurate and precise analytical "read out".
Digital Input Keyboard
The Alcotector C2H5OH breathalyzer has a unique integrated keyboard for data entry which other competitive models do not provide. The input digital keyboard is a standard keyboard layout with 12 separate keys which are alpha-numeric for hand data input. The Alcotector C2H5OH will store automatically 2000 tests. The data can be downloaded to a computer.
Printer
A wireless printer is available for a hard copy comprehensive test recording. The printer function, when connected to the Alcotector C2H5OH, provides the time and dates of alcohol tests, the alcohol concentration (BrAC), names, location, subject, driver license number (if required), breath test operator, model number, and serial number of the Alcotector. Wireless Matrix printer or wireless thermal printers are available.
